In case you're wondering, "Aardehond" is Dutch for "Earthdog," so my kennel name reflects my Dutch heritage. And as you can see below, Cocoa does her best to live up to the name!

My first Border Terrier came into my life in 1999 and I was immediately hooked! Aardehond Border Terriers now has three Borders who share our lives, home, hearts and beds.

My dogs and I actively participate in conformation, earthdog, rally obedience and agility events. In addition, I've taken several seminars on freestyle obedience and love it. I have also attended the American Kennel Club (AKC) earthdog seminar and am an AKC earthdog judge.

I am an active member of the Border Terrier Club of America, the Border Terrier Club of Central Ohio, and an Associate member of Wild Weavers of Ohio, an agility dog training center.
